Jinn Board Method

Prepare the Space

Arrange the candles, card, board, and incense before beginning. Keep the area calm, private, and free from interruptions.

The text is organized in the original order: preparation, recitation, four candle invocations, and the closing petition.

Part I

Preparation and Opening

  1. Get a red candle, blue candle, yellow candle, and a black candle.
  2. Place the red candle in the middle of the top-right hexagram on the board.
  3. Place the black candle in the middle of the bottom-right hexagram on the board.
  4. Place the yellow candle in the middle of the bottom-left hexagram on the board.
  5. Place the blue candle in the middle of the top-left hexagram on the board.
  6. Place your card in the center of the pentagram on the board.
  7. Light some incense.
  8. Light each candle while saying out loud: “Ajajaabanenjayaan.”
  9. Place your hand on top of your card and repeat “Ajajaabanenjayaan” 49 times.

Recitation of Names

Say the following passage out loud seven times.

The Four Candle Invocations

Red Candle

Mazer

Stare at the red candle and recite the common invocation, then say:

I call you O Mazer to send unto me a jinn from under your command who can charge [the name on your card].

Black Candle

Qaswarah

Stare at the black candle and recite the common invocation, then say:

I call you O Qaswarah to send unto me a jinn from under your command who can charge [the name on your card].

Yellow Candle

Kamtam

Stare at the yellow candle and recite the common invocation, then say:

I call you O Kamtam to send unto me a jinn from under your command who can charge [the name on your card].

Blue Candle

Taykel

Stare at the blue candle and recite the common invocation, then say:

I call you O Taykel to send unto me a jinn from under your command who can charge [the name on your card].

Closing Petition

Repeat out loud: “Ajajaabanenjayaan” seven times.

“O jinn whom I called today and who have charge over (the name on your card), whether it be you, one of your servitors, or (the name on your card), I ask you to aid me with my need. Manifest to me (state your wish).”
